HC Andersen Marathon

7/16/2018 9 HOURS IN THE SADDLE

- by measuring routes

Sunday morning at 6.00 a.m., the measurement of the routes to this year's HCA Marathon was started.
Peer Jensen, an international measurer, started calibrating his Jones counter before we began to measure this year's routes for both marathon and half marathon. Again, there are little changes on the routes again this year.
Changes necessary due to the way too many road projects that are running at the same time in Odense.

Could be interrupted by a short morning's intake at Hotel Cabinn, and a short lunch we were in the saddle until noon close to 3 p.m.

Then the routes were ready for the half and full marathon of the year, can be certified by AIMS.

A long day, with very hot summer weather ended, with the final route in place.
